Indigo Bunting stops at Presqu’ile Park during spring migration.
Tens of thousands of songbirds and shorebirds are migrating through Presqu’ile Provincial Park and the public has a special opportunity to see some of them this weekend.
Presqu’ile Park is offering guided walks during its two-day Warblers and Whimbrels weekend, this Saturday and Sunday.
Spokesperson David Bree says there’s an early bird walk near the lighthouse at 6:30 a.m.
Bree says there are many migratory birds at the park right now.
