The Trenton Golden Hawks are now 2-0 at the RBC Cup in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Curtis Harvey and Quinn Lenihan scored 2:35 apart in the 3rd period, as the G-Hawks beat Carleton Place 3-1.
The win will ensure Trenton gets a spot in the semi finals next Saturday.
Daniel Urbani turned aside 20 shots in the win, in a game where Trenton out shot their opponent almost 2-1 (41-21).
Their next game is Tuesday when they meet the West Kelowna Warriors at 5:30 p.m. est.
