The interview process to hire a new director of care and administrator at HJ McFarland Home continues.
In January, Prince Edward County parted ways with Saint Elizabeth Healthcare due to the $600,000 annual cost.
Commissioner of finance and corporate works Susan Turnball says first round interviews have been completed and now are moving on to the second round.
She also noted they are short seven PSWs, one registered practical nurse and a registered nurse. She adds they are working to recruit those positions.
Saint Elizabeth’s contract ends June 18.
