A Hastings and Prince Edward School Board teacher has been cleared of assault charges, stemming from an incident at Prince .
Officials at the Quinte Courthouse tell Quinte News, Krista Cole of Picton had her charges dismissed today.
Cole was charged on May 20, 2015 after a student suffered minor injuries from an alleged assault.
An Intelligencer report says Cole dragged a disruptive student out of classroom by her ankles, after she laid on the ground and wouldn’t leave.
Justice Stephen Hunter told court, after viewing video of the incident, Cole clearly acted in a manner that was gentle and not angry.
