The Chair of the TMH Task Force made a presentation to Quinte Health Care on a proposed health hub in Quinte West Tuesday April 26, 2016.
Marsha Stephen presented two options, either a renovation to the current site, or the creation of a new building in Trenton.
Stephen says the costs are similar, however a green field, or new build, is the preferred option.
A renovation to the third floor of the current TMH and a four floor addition would cost $17 million, while a new site would be about $16 million.
Both the Southeast LHIN and QHC are taking time to look over the options.
