A group of downtown businesses may be looking to a vacant property to help with the revitalization this summer.
At a meeting at the Belleville Downtown Improvement Thursday night, stakeholders will propose renting out space at the former Brick location on Pinnacle Street, to use as a temporary store front for the summer.
Meeting spokesperson Richard Courneyea says it may provide some relief in the short term.
Downtown between Victoria and Campbell Streets will be closed until the fall, as infrastructure repairs take place on Front Street.
The meeting is Thursday at the BDIA office at 5:30 p.m.
