SIU INVESTIGATING DEATH
(BANCROFT, ON) – On April 25, 2016 members of the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) executed a Feeney Warrant to arrest a male wanted in connection with an earlier incident.
When officers entered the Bancroft residence, they located an adult male deceased.
The province’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) was notified by the OPP and has invoked its mandate. Any further inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at 416-622-2342
