The numbers are preliminary right now, but yesterday’s (Saturday) 16th annual Quinte Trash Bash is shaping up to be another huge success.
Becky McWhirter, the Green Coordinator and Public Education Officer for the City of Belleville says she was proud of the turnout and the work done by all involved.
McWhirter also talked about the amount of waste that was collected from the area.

McWhirter said there were about 10-15 volunteers helping out in Belleville.
The Trash Bash last year set new records, both for the number of volunteers and for the amount of garbage collected.
Final numbers for this year are expected to trickle out later this week.
