Belleville police looking for the public’s help after a hit and run accident in the far east end of the city at around 9 last night.
Police report a vehicle left Old Highway 2 near the Tyendinaga Township border and hit a tree and then came close to hitting a house.
The vehicle drove away, heading east.
Police believe the vehicle was a grey Hyundai Santa Fe.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Martin or Crime Stoppers.
