The Capital Grants Program of the Ontario Trillium Foundation has been suspended.
The program, which handed out cash to many local, and provincial agencies, has beenturned over to the Ontario Liberals for a new program called Ontario 150.
Prince Edward Hastings MPP Todd Smith says he is worried the government will politicize a non partisan fund.
Smith says the work of many groups, who were applying for Ontario Trillium funding, can now be thrown in the trash.
More details on Ontario 150 is expected this week.
