Moneysense magazine doesn’t think much of Belleville-Quinte West, but a magazine for baby boomers has high marks for Picton.
The two cities finished 103rd on the list of the top places to live in Canada. However, Zoomer Magazine lists Picton among the top ten small-town Ontario communities for those looking for a place to retire. No one from the magazine was available for comment on the ranking from one to ten, or why Picton made the list. Other Eastern Ontario communities making the Zoomer list are Cobourg, Smiths Falls and Peterborough.
