The complex job of bringing various healthcare organizations together in a health hub proposed for
Trenton Memorial Hospital continues.
At a meeting earlier this week, about 30 governors of 6 healthcare boards of directors, along with members of the Trenton Hospital Foundation and OurTMH studied preliminary plans to integrate services
at a health hub.
There was unanimous support for some kind of integration of services and administration.
However, much more information is being asked for and it remains to be seen how the space
at Trenton Memorial could be utilized best.
The healthcare agencies involved in the TMH Implementation Task Force are Quinte Health Care, Community Care Access Centre, VON, Brighton Quinte West Family Health Team, Belleville Quinte West Community Health Centre, and Addictions and Mental Health Services Hastings Prince Edward.
