Belleville Police Service responded to 41 calls for service from the 4th of April 2016 at 5:00 a.m. to the 5th of April 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Weapons
Belleville, Ontario – At approximately 12:06 p.m. on April 4, 2016 police attended at an elementary school in the east end of Belleville to investigate a report of a student threatening another student with a weapon. On arrival officers met with the administration from the school and found that the weapon involved was a pellet gun. The pellet gun was turned over to police by the school administration and the student was sent home. The investigation is continuing at this time and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario – On the 4th of April 2016 at 10:35 p.m. Belleville Police Service investigated a domestic disturbance at a residence on Highland Avenue. Investigation revealed that a female party had assaulted a male. He received minor injuries that did not require medical attention. A 24yr old female was arrested for assault and will appear in Belleville Provincial Court on 25 April 2016.
