One month today (April 4), the Quinte region will host their first ever world championship.
The Under-19 Women’s World Floorball Championship kicks off May 4th with a sold out game between the host Canadians and Japan.
President of the Local Organizing Committee Brett Davis tells Quinte News they have been planning since 2013.
The organizing committee has moved into the former Bulls Box office, flags and signage are now visible at the Wellness Centre and Team Canada will be named this week.
Everyone is welcome to the unveiling of the roster, which is taking place at Belleville’s Boston Pizza beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
