The numbers are down a bit at Hazardous Waste drop-offs so far this spring and Quinte Waste Solutions hopes hazardous items aren’t making their way into landfills. Spokesman Jeff Lauritsen says the Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Days started last month and continue through to October on those two days. If you’ve got old cleaners, paint cans or other hazardous waste cluttering up your garage or kitchen cupboards….the drop-off times are Tuesday from 4-til-7pm and Thursday from 8am-til-2pm at the Public Works yard on Wallbridge Crescent in Belleville.
