The Belleville Police Service responded to 40 calls for service from 25 March 2016 at 5:00 am to 26 March 2016 at 5:00 am.
Disturb the PeaceUPDATE: Reports Friday indicated a man and woman lived in the house.
Belleville, Ontario – On Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1:33 p.m., police responded to a residence on Bleecker Avenue in regards to a disturbance. Two parties were taken to Belleville General Hospital as a result and one male party was later transferred to Kingston General Hospital due to his injuries. This incident is still currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division and a more detailed release will follow.
Impaired Driving
Belleville, Ontario – On Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:27 a.m., police responded to the area of Sidney and Moira Street West in regards to a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle on Dundas Street West near Palmer Road and the driver was observed driving westbound on Dundas Street West in the eastbound curb lane. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and the driver arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. A 48 year old male of Belleville was charged with Impaired Driving and Drive over 80 and later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date in April.
