It seems like the Belleville Police Service has made the biggest catch of the weekend so far.
Officers were called to a Tim Hortons on Dundas just before 6:00 this morning… after a man reported his pickup truck and trailer… which was carrying a boat… missing.
The man had entered the store… and left his truck running… and when he came out… it was gone.
Police located the truck and trailer on Highland avenue… and charged an unidentified 18 year old Belleville man with possession of stolen property over 5 thousand dollars.
He’s being held for a bail hearing on monday.
