A media report says the Brighton home of Corporal Marie France Comeau was broken into eight days before she was murdered.
The Toronto Star says included in the 82 break and enter charges laid yesterday against Colonel Russell Williams is an incident at Comeau’s Raglan Street residence on November 16th. An O-P-P press release indicated the charges were for breakins in Tweed, Ottawa and Belleville, but made no mention of Brighton. Comeau, whose death is linked to Williams, was found dead in her home on November 24th.
The Star also claims there were breakins at the home of a Tweed woman sexually assaulted September 30th four and six days before she was attacked.
