A source close to the investigation into the former Commander of CFB Trenton says Russell Williams “wants to get this over with, and he’s had enough.”
The Globe and Mail is quoting sources close to the murder, sexual assault and breakin investigation as saying a plea-agreement is in the works for Williams. Sources say prosecutors and Williams’ defence have reached an agreement in principle that would see the Colonel plead guilty to all charges against him. Williams is charged with two counts of first degree murder and charges linked to two sexual assaults in Tweed and dozens of breakins. He was in Belleville court yesterday via video from his prison cell, and his case was remanded to June 24th.
