Quinte Health Care continues to struggle to try and keep down wait times in local hospitals.
At Tuesday night’s board meeting, members discussed some of the issues, including decreased staff and reduced funding.
Chief of Staff Doctor Dick Zoutman says they are hoping adding physicians at peak times can help.
Out of the four hospitals, Belleville General is the hardest hit in the ER and Zoutman says that is because they see the most patients, coming from across the region.
