The public has a chance to see all kinds of water birds today and tomorrow as Presqu’ile Provincial Park holds its 40th annual Waterfowl Weekend.
The ducks, geese and swans are starting to appear and up to 25 different species are expected to rest and feed in Presqu’ile Bay before moving on to nesting areas further north and west.
Spokesman David Bree says there are about 7,000 waterfowl on the bay right now.
The viewing runs till 4 p.m. Sunday.
