A Thomasburg man has a court date next month after a serious assault early Friday morning in Belleville.
City police were called to a North Front Street bar where a man had numerous injuries to his head and ears.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A witness pointed out a suspect to police and a 20-year-old has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
