Teachers and support staff from Sagonaska Demonstration School and the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf will hold an outdoor demonstration this coming Monday, March 21, 2016.
Staff at the schools are worried that the Sagonaska school may be closed as the provincial government looks to cut costs.
Provincial consultants are visiting the schools Monday to see first hand what is going on.
Sagonaska Student Support Counsellor Mark Whalen says the Sagonaska Demonstration School has done great work for over 30 years.
The Sagonaska school serves a maximum of 40 special needs students.
The Minister of Education is on record as saying that the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf will not close.
