Journalism students at Loyalist College will get to put their question-asking skills to the test, as they team up with Belleville Police to conduct a community survey.
The police force is gathering information for its community safety plan and has enlisted the help of students to conduct phone surveys with residents between March 14th and 24th.
Students will ask seven questions about the police department and how residents feel about the service that’s being provided.
The questions will revolve around things like satisfaction with neighbourhood policing, overall satisfaction with the service and ways to open lines of communication between officers and the public.
