The front man who led Great Big Sea to worldwide fame is coming to Quinte West.
At an announcement Monday, March 14, 2016, committee members for the Trenton Scottish Irish Festival, announced Alan Doyle as their musical headliner for their September event.
Last week, Quinte West City Council approved $30,000 to book a major music act, to help bolster one of the areas largest annual events.
Empire Theatre owner Mark Rashotte is producing the concert and says Doyle will bring star power to the 2016 event.
