More local employers plan to hire this spring than plan to downsize.
That, according to the latest Manpower Canada employment survey of hiring intentions.
Locally, the survey shows that 16 percent of employers plan to do some hiring, while only three percent plan cutbacks.
Four out of five local employers will keep their workforce the same as it is now through the spring.
