There are 510 kilometres of sparkling clean land next to roads and highways in Prince Edward County today. At least 562 people were involved in the 18th annual Trash Bash, put on by the Prince Edward Round Table on Environment and Economy on Saturday.
Co-Chair Judy Paulhus says there was less garbage in the ditches and along the shoulders this year than in other years. However, she is concerned about an increase this year in coffee cups and water bottles.
