The business head of the Trenton Golden Hawks has received a prestigious award from the OJHL.
John McDonald has been named the 2015-16 Executive of the Year.
McDonald says it is special, but adds that it is a team award.
McDonald has helped build up the G-Hawks to the number one ranking in the league, along with the highest attendance in the OJHL.
He was also paramount in helping to attract the Dudley Hewitt Cup for 2017, which is the Central Canadian Championship.
In 2014-15 McDonald was named the OJHL Volunteer of the Year.
