Brighton council will decide on who gets the job to reconstruct busy streets near the downtown at its meeting tomorrow night.
Municipal staff recommend the job of rebuilding parts of Alice and Dundas Streets go to Behan Construction.
Behan Construction’s tender was the second lowest of 4, at close to $1.7 million.
Cobourg Development’s bid was slightly lower, but Brighton staff believe the work should go to Behan Construction as they are already working on another job nearby.
Brighton council meets at 6:30 tomorrow in council chambers.
