And now for something a little different. Six local women captured Provincial Cheerleading championships in Kitchener this weekend.
Madi Reid, Katelyn Thompson, Hana Haytouoglo, Claire Bates, Riely Ervine and Shannon and Emily Wildish earned trophies as members of the Pulse Athletics Club in Kingston.
The girls advance to the National Championships in Niagara Falls in April.
