A bit of a disturbing story out of Marlbank, where Napanee OPP say two dogs were attacked and had to be euthanized.
Both incidents happened on Henderson Road.
The first dog, a male yellow labrador retriever, was injured sometime on February 15th.
The dog’s owner called it into the house and found it with what appeared to be a pair of gunshot wounds to his rear hip and leg area.
The other incident happened two days later, when the owner of a three year old black lab found her pet with an apparent gun shot wound to the head, after putting it outside while she was at work.
OPP say there’s a chance the incidents are connected and they want to know who’s responsible.
