Fluctuating temperatures have again prompted a Water Safety Statement from Quinte Conservation.
The environmental agency says water levels are rising and flow speeds are increasing, making local waterways and the banks around them, very dangerous.
QC is also putting out the reminder that ice conditions are unsafe across the watershed and you should stay off frozen lakes and streams until temperatures dip down again.
While flooding is not expected, the water safety statement will be in place until March 2nd.
