The collision between the pedestrian and car in Belleville Friday night happened on North Front Street, near Valleyview Crescent
Belleville police are asking for witnesses to a vehicle/pedestrian accident on North Front Street in the supper hour Saturday to come forward.
An 82 year old man was walking and was hit by a vehicle north of the McDonald’s restaurant.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle’s driver was not injured.
Police say alcohol was not a factor in the mishap.
