The first-ever Street Stylez event in Belleville kept five hair stylists snipping away all
day yesterday.
The team, led by Melissa Payton, provided free haircuts and styles to 105 people.
All of the stylists volunteered their time in an effort to help the poor and homeless in
the community.
Street Stylez was held at the Salvation Army on Pinnacle Street, and Payton says they’ll organize
another event before the year is out.
