It was another productive day at the table for members of the TMH Implementation Task Force.
The group planning a “healthcare hub” at Trenton Memorial Hospital met again Friday afternoon, as it continues putting together a master business plan for the facility.
Task Force Chair Marsha Stephen tells Quinte News they continued to look at what should be included in the new centre.
And while the group was able to make some more headway during the Friday meeting, it’s the March 3 meeting that will likely lead to new developments.
Stephen says members of an architectural firm will be at that meeting, helping to get a better idea of what the facility might actually look like.
And she says those plans could even include a stand-alone building, something the task force has also been asked to look at.
As of right now though, the plan is to house the healthcare hub in some now-vacant space inside the hospital.
The task force will host the architect on March 3, but will meet again on February 25.
Stephen says at the next meeting, the group will evaluate some other healthcare hubs in the province, to see how the new one in Trenton might stack up.
