A young woman got away from a scary situation last night.
Belleville police say a man followed the woman through the downtown and
right on to a city bus.
It’s alleged the man showed part of a knife to the woman on the bus and made
rude sexual comments.
The victim fled from the bus unharmed.
The man is said to be white, in his late 50s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium build with shoulder
length unkempt grey hair.
He was wearing a multi-colored Nascar jacket.
Belleville police are asking members of the public to call police or Crime Stoppers if they have information.
