For the fifth straight year the Bayside Secondary School Red Devils have won the Bay of Quinte High School swimming championships.
Leading Bayside were Alexandra Whynott with 3 gold medals, and David Mason, Thomas Butler and Rylan Miller with two each.
Nicholson Catholic College finished second overall. Rafiq Jiwa with 3 gold medals followed by Katelyn and Stephanie Cairns, Isaac and Ryan Jarvis, Shakil Jiwa, Chloe Martineau and Jeremy Moyer with two each.
Also winning double gold were Quinton Lichty and Emily Shimanuki from Centennial, Tessa Ling from Quinte and Harleigh Baker and Cameron Manzara from the Trenton Tigersharks.
Belleville will host the Central Ontario Championships next Wednesday at the Templeman-Menninga Aquatic Centre.
