The County wants more members of the public around the table in discussions on how to stop increasing water and wastewater rates.
Tuesday night, councillor Kevin Gale told council he has received tonnes of feedback from the community with the desire to see more users on the system added to the already 12 member committee.
During 2016, budget discussions council agreed that a committee should be sparked to find ways to pay for $100 million in projects over 20 years, reduce a $30 million debt load, get more users on the system and stop penalizing the ones that are.
At the meeting council decided to double public appointments to four from two and reduce the number of councillors from four to three.
Councillors appointed to the committee include: Picton councillor Treat Hull, Ameliasburgh councillor Janice Maynard and Sophiasburgh councillor Kevin Gale.
