One of the craziest games of the season for the Wellington Dukes ended in defeat Friday night against the Markham Royals.
Markham topped the Dukes 7-5 at home. Nicolas Mucci picked up two goals for the Dukes and Burnie Tyler picked up three assists. Royals forward Hudson Michaelis recorded the hat trick and Aaron Spivak had five points in the win.
The Dukes are in action Sunday, when they host Lindsay. CJBQ will be broadcasting that game. Tune into CJBQ at 1:50 p.m. for live coverage.
The Trenton Golden Hawks lost Friday night as well. The team fell 3-2 in overtime at home to Newmarket.
Josh Allen and Lucas Brown had the Golden Hawk goals, while Marty Lawlor scored the overtime winner for Newmarket.
