The City of Quinte West’s Corporate Finance Committee will recommend council approve
supporting an OPP proposal to name three bridges after three fallen Trenton police officers.
The officers to be honoured will be Constable Blair Campbell Brown, who died in 1931, Constable
Mark Houlden, who passed away in 1970, and Constable James Begbie, who died in 1978.
The three bridges to be named would be the Wooler Road overpass, the highway 401 bridge over the
Trent River, and the Glen Miller Road 401 overpass.
