A Quinte West man is facing impaired charges after an accident last night in Quinte West.
Just before 6:00 p.m, crews responded to a collision between two vehicles.
Damage was estimated around $2,000.
Officers caught up with a male driver later, who allegedly assaulted a male officer.
47 year old Brian Currie has been charged with impaired, failing to give information and assaulting a peace officer.
Quinte West OPP are looking to speak to the woman involved in the collision, who was driving a Chrysler 300.
