Belleville police are searching for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted while jogging on December 8, 2015.
According to police the woman was jogging near the area of Dundas Street East and Pinnacle Street around 8 p.m.
It’s reported the woman was grabbed by a man who was standing on the same sidewalk she was using. She stopped had brief words with the man who acknowledged that he did not know who she was. She left the area quickly and did not suffer any injuries.
The suspect is described as white, being in his mid-20’s. He was wearing a hat with a possible hoody underneath. He is about 5’10” with a slight build. He had no facial hair or piercings. He is described as wearing a plaid-patterned Buffalo shirt which displayed large squares.
