Brighton residents got what they asked for from St. Mary’s Cement. After hearing concerns from citizens about the application to extract gravel from below the waterline at their main pit on White’s Road…the company agreed to cover the cost of a peer review and invite residents to an information session. Council agreed with the proposal and intends to notify the M-N-R of the process.
