On the 22nd day of January 2016 at 5:00 pm police stopped a motor vehicle on Hwy #37 at Hwy 401. Investigation revealed the plates were not authorized to be on the particular vehicle. The passenger was arrested for obstructing a police officer, she provided the wrong name. The driver was arrested and charged with breach of probation. He was on conditions not to be with female passenger. The male and female are residents of the Peterbourgh area. They were later released on Promise to Appears with a court dates in early March.
