The fence surrounding a large eyesore in Brighton has been removed..
The fence at the former Esso gas station, at Prince Edward and Elizabeth streets, was taken down at the end of March, but large concrete barriers remain on the site.
An Imperial Oil spokesperson said the fence was removed during an environmental assessment being conducted by a third party hired by the oil company’s property management subsidiary. Imperial will now assess what way it will secure the property.
