Correctional workers at the Quinte Detention Centre will stay on the job, after an agreement between the province and their union over the weekend.
After marathon bargaining sessions, the deal was reached around 4:00 a.m Saturday.
OPSEU represents 6,000 correctional workers, including all those at the Napanee institution.
Wage increases for the future will be settled by third party arbitration, revoking employees right to strike.
A previous deal from November was rejected by almost 70 percent of voters.
