No one was injured in a house fire near Big Island in Prince Edward County yesterday
morning.
Fire broke out in a room at the back of the house at 14 69 County Road 15 around 9 in the morning.
County firefighters had the fire out in about an hour, and the damage was contained to just the rear of the home.
The cause remains under investigation.
