A step could be taken tonight toward determining what kind of question Prince Edward County residents will be asked in this year’s election about the size and structure of county council.
A public meeting will beĀ held at Shire Hall in Picton, discussing whether Council should begin a public consultation process considering reducing the number of councillors, and changing or eliminating ward boundaries. There are 15 councillors, and some people believe that’s too many for a municipality the size of Prince Edward.
The meeting begins at seven o’clock in the council chambers.
