UPDATE @ 8:50 a.m.: Rednersville Road has been re-opened. Injuries suffered in that collision are considered non-life threatening. Investigations for both collisions are ongoing.
There were two serious collisions in Prince Edward County this morning.
About a dozen emergency vehicles from Belleville and the County responded to the Petro Canada outlet on Highway 62, near the Norris Whitney Bridge, around 5:30 a.m.
Two people were extricated from the vehicle and brought to hospital. The severity of their injuries aren’t known at this time.
OPP are still on scene and Highway 62 remains open.
Meanwhile, just around the corner at Reddick Street and Rednersville Road, a vehicle slammed into two parked cars. Extracation was needed there as well. Rednersville Road is closed at this time.
