It was a big victory for the Canadian Cancer Society Wednesday night, as the Trenton Goldenhawks held their annual Pink in the Rink night.
A total of $13,400 was raised during the evening, which included a jersey auction, silent auction, an emotional pregame ceremony and of course and cheering.
Trenton Goldenhawks Spokesperson John MacDonald says it has been another great success.
The Wellington Dukes spoiled the party in the end with a 4-3 overtime victory.
Tyler Burnie with two goals and Napaneeās Luc Brown had the winner.

Friday night, Wellington hosts Kingston at 7:30 p.m, while Trenton travels to Markham, also for a 7:30 start, 7:20 p.m on CJBQ for Dowes Climate Care.
